Mandarin Afterschool Group Class
To build strong multilingual skills in children while improving school performance, Mandarin Channel School offers structured Mandarin after-school group classes in Hong Kong, alongside private tutoring (in-home and at school) and immersive summer programs. These graded group classes are designed by our kids' and teenagers' Mandarin teaching team.
Students are placed into suitable groups based on:

Our teaching system is based on the CHINESE MADE EASY and HuanLeHuoBan curriculums, widely used in international schools in Hong Kong. We combine this with interactive teaching methods, including

Scenario-based Mandarin speaking and listening practice

Toy-based interactive learning approach

Videos, pictures, storytelling, flashcards, puzzles, and stickers

Chinese character recognition and writing practice
Both Simplified and Traditional Chinese characters are available.
Teachers will record learning content and students' feedback after every lesson, and share them with parents every week to understand what kids achieve with Mandarin Channel School.
Mandarin Channel School believes that teachers are the keys to leading students to explore Chinese culture, cultivate Mandarin studying interest, and build Mandarin speaking confidence. All teachers are native Mandarin speakers, patient, energetic, and well-trained. Averagely 7 years of Mandarin kids and teenagers teaching experience.
2-4 students in each group, each lesson is 1.5 hours
Each lesson tuition is 450hkd. 14 classes in the term of Sep-Dec 2026
5-8 yrs Group
Group 1: Wed 4:30-6pm
Group 2: Thurs 4:30-6pm
starts on 3rd & 9th September
9-12 yrs Group
Group 1: Thurs 4:30-6pm
Group 2: Sat 2-3:30pm
starts on 3rd & 5th September
Above 12yrs
Group 1: Thurs 4:30-6pm
Group 2: Sat 11-12:30pm
starts on 3rd & 5th September
1) Up to Two make-up lessons (45minutes private lessons) will be provided if students cannot attend classes due to the following reasons:

students' school plans changed last minute
2) Public holiday, red&black rain signal weathers, T8 will postpone the classes and arrange make up classes accordingly.
